Hi there! I'm Mckayla from British Columbia, Canada and I will be working with my 3 year old Cavalier King Charles "Wren". He is an incredible dog who has incredible potential; highly motivated, eager to please, happy~ he's like a little 12lb border collie. Unfortunately, since he has been so easy, I have focused most of my training time on my other dog Lincoln. Lincoln is a 7 year old Puggle with an attitude and a frown to match haha. He is highly treat motivated but the last course we did used only toys or praise for reward and banished food reward. This has left me with a highly unmotivated dog but we have come a long ways in our 7 years together. I'm hoping this course will help me learn how to build motivation in a dog that is food or toy driven, how to cut back/phase out rewards, better proofing techniques, and finally start to unleash Wren's full potential!
