When conditioning a collar grab…

In the desirable and undesirable conflict portion we talk about conditioning a collar grab. That way the dog has a positive association with the collar grab. As you grab the collar you present food which is conditioning a collar grab kind of like a marker. My question is do you think this could become an issue in a dog that does bite work/ bite sports? For example I conditioned my ‘out’ or ‘let go’ of the decoy/sleeve very similarly- I say my out command and present food (in a low state of arousal and drive because in a high state he wouldn’t choose the food) this way my dog doesn’t think twice and just spits out the thing to be able to eat the food. With bite work when he’s in a high state this conditioning still holds up and he’ll let go of the decoy and his reward will be to bite again- so I’m wondering if conditioning a collar grab would possibly condition the same response- I come up, grab his collar and he lets go of the bite because collar grab means food is coming- and well he can’t take food while he’s biting. My only thought is maybe because context this wouldn’t happen? Such as when I’m collar grabbing there isn’t a toy in his mouth to spit out, so it doesn’t mean out? But again could he still be expecting food every time I collar grab? Let me know yalls thoughts!
