Just wanted to say thank you to you all - Forrest as our leader and each and every one of you participating, sharing, supporting and giving us glimpses of who you are, who your dog is and your relationship together.  it makes for not only an educational / informative class but also a motivating and supportive one.  just thought i needed to say so - given it's really the key reason Dyson and I are still here in week 4.  Thank You!

I felt so out of my depth when I saw the videos people submitted in the first week!

You guys are all so kind and amazing. I hate saying stuff like that because I am definitely not fishing for compliments!

I love learning and training with my dogs but I have no delusions of grandeur, just so very grateful to be able to join in here and learn from and with the best. 

The past few weeks have been my happiest training with Vivid. I need a lot of help to get my handling up to her level and I feel like I have finally found a place where I can find it!

Too much positive reinforcement... my dogs trained balanced but I'm avoidance based.  Someone be mean to me so I can know what to do :)

Peg we'll have to wait and see if your attempt at positive punishment changes Ben's behaviour.  Personally I doubt it - I think being cheeky is self rewarding behaviour ; )

Leanne, thanks for sharing this with the whole class - it's reinforcement for us all! I'm so happy you're sticking with it... I know you've been out of your comfort zone with some of this stuff.
