What is the Canine Good Citizen?

There are 5 Core Skills that a dog should understand when the come into a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) course.

1. SIT

2. DOWN

3. STAY

4. COME

5. WALK ON A LOOSE LEASH

While it's not necessary to be totally proficient in these skills, your training will progress faster if you and your dog do some training before hand.

For those students who don't bring those skills to the course the last two Modules in our course  will cover the basics of how to train these skills.
