Asia Perch

Asia got away with some things since I couldn't really see her hind quarters.  I'm going to have to work this around mirrors.  Sorry the videos are so dark. It's still just too nasty to work outside. Jealous of all of you working in warm weather!

Nice work Cathy!

I wouldn't sweat the hind quarter thing one bit.  Over time, she will be perching like a bird.  Just keep marking as you are, and it will happen exactly how it should.

I had a previous student with a dog almost identical to Asia, except a male.  By the end of the course the dog was sitting pretty incredibly, without lure, for as long as the handler asked.   It was so awesome to see.

Keep it up!

Great enterteinment, Cathy, for yourself and Asia as one can see, and for all pupils who watch it too. What elegant movements Asia makes!
