It was hard to do the quiet command with Luna. I believe she was getting confused on the speak and trying to be quiet. I tried to introduce external stimilus(wife's dog barking on iPhone). Basically Luna is not at the point for quiet but will continue to work on it. When she is barking at outside things she will obey the quiet command which I mark and reward.

For some odd reason, I could not watch your vid. Only a picture of the place you probably will work. Hope it will be different for Mark and the other pupils. Reason can also be the problems we often have here (Brazil). but all the other videos I could watch without problem. Perhaps you can ask one of the others, if they could load.

Here comes: "Error loading media. File could not be played."

Hey Steven,

You are correct.  She'll need a little more work on the barking before incorporating the quiet.

That being said, your initial rep of quiet was exactly what you need to do, so I have no concerns about your ability to teach Luna this behavior.

I think you'll be able to work the quiet in a matter of a week, or two at most.

For now, just beef up her barking as much as possible.  When it is at a desirable level for you, introduce the quiet.

Again, I'm not concerned in the least.
