I see where I messed up at one point and asked for her to speak twice before she did the behavior.  :-(

I wouldn't worry about that Carol. I totally screwed my dog up this week! Marking when I shouldn't have. Not marking when I should have. That's why I did this class with Asia and not my puppy lol.

I agrree with Cathy, Carol. These things happen probably to most people. Mark will without doubt estimate, that you noticed it youself. I found the presentation lovely and Sasha very attentive.

Very nice Carol!

If you are aware of the mistakes you are making, that is the true sign of growth in what we are doing.  Which for me, means I'm doing my job:)  So, good for you for realizing that!!!

Only thing I would do is to try to get multiple barks without giving her a reminding "speak" cue.  So, once you ask "speak" just wait out two barks(which may take a couple seconds) and reward that. Once you have a couple successful reps without the reminding speak cue, she will start to offer more barks on her own, not relying on your cue.

One other thing, its hard to see your head in the video, but at one point it looked like you nodded in conjunction with your mark.  I'm not sure if it was a one time deal or if its something you might be doing subconsciously.   Just thought I would mention it.

Great job all around!  Someone is going to be very lucky to adopt Sasha after she has been training with you this way!  Thanks from all of us for that!

Keep up the good work!

I will see if my husband can video so that I can see my body language - I can see what you are saying Mark.  Videoing is so helpful

Thank you all for your help and encouragement!
