I had never been told about free-shaping when I first started training my dogs. Once I started learning about it, most explanations just didn't satisfy me. These videos did a great job explaining. I can see how free-shaping could easily become frustrating to either dog or owner though, when first introduced. 

It is truly amazing to watch them learn through frustration

Free-shaping in my opinion is such a stronger teaching tool to use on the high drive dogs.

I really enjoy watching dogs become problem solvers through free shaping behaviors.  I feel like it changes a dog for the better. 

I had never heard of free shaping but now I love it! My dog seems to really enjoy this activity as well.

Can't wait to apply these free shaping techniques to my upcoming board & trains, 2 wild & stubborn littermate Huskies.  This might be a game changer in my ability to motivate them!
