In Obedience and Behavior Foundations Part 2 we will continue to build on the work that we began in part one. The main focus of this course is to introduce our dogs to the concept of leash pressure, and begin to use the leash and training collar to solidify our dog's obedience.
We will also go through a series of proofing exercises which are designed to test the dog's commitment to our commands and help them to develop a resistance to distractions.
Lastly, we will discuss concepts and strategies for using obedience as a functional tool to aid you and your dog in creating a healthy lifestyle and relationship. Following through with these skills will allow you to live in a truly cohesive manner together, and will arm you with the foundation you need to to both prevent and resolve many common behavioral issues.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Professional trainers working with pet dogs and everyday dog owners.
