About

This course is designed to allow a dog and handler to develop all the skills they need to have a solid foundation of obedience and to prepare them for off-leash work or resolving problem behaviors. The course covers in detail the five basic commands that all dogs should know: come, sit, down, heel, and place (go to your dog bed). Giving simple, easy to follow exercises for the general pet owner, as well as in depth theory and advanced concepts for the enthusiast or professional.

Tyler starts with a reward based foundation, then progresses through leash pressure conditioning and proofing techniques for each of the commands. Sign up for Obedience Foundations with Tyler Muto and gain all the skills you need for lasting success!

FAQ

 1. How is this course different from Tyler Muto's Obedience and Behavior Foundations Part 1 and Part 2?

Obedience Foundations was originally a single course.  To make the content more manageable for students, it was divided into two separate courses: Obedience and Behavior Foundations Part 1 and Part 2.

2. Should I take this course along with Part 1 and Part 2?

No, this Obedience Foundations course is equivalent to both Part 1 and Part 2 combined.  Students should take either this Obedience Foundations course (if you have already enrolled) or both Part 1 and Part 2, but not all three.

3. When will the next class be available?

There is no scheduled upcoming class at this time.  We recommend that students interested in the course enroll in Obedience and Behavior Foundations Part 1 and Part 2 instead.
